Description
The Cyanocitta cristata bromia or the Northern blue jay. A noisy, bold and aggressive passerine that is a normally slow flier. Being a slow flier makes easy prey for hawks and owls when flying in open areas. Although migratory, the bluejays in my area stay the winter. Blue jays are highly curious and are considered intelligent birds.
This fellow frequents my home in Western New York, Each year there are about 6 blue jays in our area.
I used two textures from Jai Johnson collection and a wonderful painted background by Tom Pickering
