I started dabbling in watercolours nine years ago when I had to retire from nursing due to health issues. Being self-taught ie. having never attended an art group it has been a rocky road and still is. But watercolour painting has been a God-send and has filled many a happy hour. I paint mostly from photographs, often ones taken myself, or from imagination on occasions.
