My first camera was an old Polaroid, the kind that gave you a strangely coloured print 60 seconds after you'd taken the photo.   There was no post processing involved!   After that, I had my first small 35mm film camera.   I used to develop the films in the cupboard under the stairs, and black out a bedroom to develop black and white prints with a clunky old enlarger.   I inherited the darkroom equipment from my father, a very keen photographer.   Sadly he who passed away when I was four years old, so he never had the chance to pass on to me any of his skills with a...more
