Description
This is real snowflake: small snow crystal with interesting ring pattern of heart-shaped elements, connected to central hexagon. I've seen heart-like pattern only three times from 8 winters of snowflake photography.
8 serial RAW photos was aligned and averaged to boost signal/noise ratio of this image. Snow crystal was captured on large glass plate with LED back light, with Canon Powershot A650is and additional lens Helios 44M-5 (used as external magnifier), in January 2016, Moscow, Russia.
This is version in blue colors. You can see original version, in romantic pinky colors, in galleries "Bright snowflakes" and "All snowflakes".
