So, I have to admit, when I showed this image to one of my grand-daughters and asked if she liked it, her replay was, "No, it's just grass and water, Gammy!" Well, I was a little crushed, but I did appreciate her honesty and the reality which she revealed. It is true, this is JUST grass with FROZEN water stuck to it. It is JUST a simple thing I saw out in my yard. It lasted for a few hours and then the ice crystals were gone. They JUST disappeared.

I know I am a bit different than many people. I see the world maybe through rose-colored glasses. I notice things others don't pay attention to. It makes it hard for me to remember how to drive to locations, because I don't pay attention to the street names or landmarks. I'm looking at plants, or the sky or heaven only knows what else! Food has little interest to me. I eat with my eyes. I am sure there are many times when strangers (and people who love me) wonder what in the world has stopped me in my tracks and captured my attention? It's JUST some ordinary thing . . .

Yesterday, my other grand daughter hopped out of the car and ran to the front yard exclaiming, "Gammy look at the grass!" She saw every blade of grass lined in sparkling frost glimmering in the morning sunshine. I picked up a leaf that was similarly bejeweled with icy edges and held it up so the sun would shine on it. The two of us stood together marveling at the morning beauty. It was JUST grass and frozen dew, but for my sweet little one and me it made for a moment that was JUST perfect!
