I am honored to have such a wonderful client in Connecticut who commissioned me to paint this latest of five home portraits. It is to be a wedding gift for the owner of The Greystone Cafe, a charming, relaxing place for a coffee break in this picturesque neighborhood at 123 Appleton St., Boston, Massachusetts. Welcome! Taste their delicious mouth-watering home-baked treats!
The beautiful Victorian details were very time-consuming to paint and especially challenging to get the perspective right. I used four images sent by my client as reference photos for this Greystone Cafe spring watercolor painting commission. I love a good challenge!
