Shopify App- Limited Image Cap?

I have added many products to my store via the pixels shopify app and have had no issues until I uploaded my 17th image. There are no options to add products from this image to my shopify store. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you have many things already added? Shopify have an upper threshold and you may have exceeded that so they will only allow so many variables per day

Take a look at Shopify upgrades and perhaps contact them about their limits

Please feel free to contact me direct about anything Shopify

Dane - you don't seem to have any products enabled for that item on FAA/Pixels side so there's nothing to add to Shopify.

At least if I've found the right image.

PS Maybe I'm being dense but I'm not seeing what about that image needs a work safe filter??

I just tried re-uploading the same image and trying again and it worked! Must have been a bug! Thanks both of you.

The same issue is popping up again. I am trying to add an image to my store and no options are coming up. Tried re-uploading it again but that is not working this time around. Can't add any new products to my store and I found out there is no upper threshold on Shopify. I also can't even go to my pixels profile and order a print from there. I want to give someone a print as a gift and I cannot order it at the moment as there are no options after I upload the image.

There is a threshold. But that may not be the issue

If you already have 50,000 variants in your store, then Shopify limits you to 1,000 new variants per day.

As each new product loads many more, you may be hitting their limit. Obviously it is very easy to hit that threshold as each image creates many variables

I will see if we are having any issues apart from that

See "EDIT" on the image
Click and scroll down to add prices
SUBMIT

I figured it out after looking into everything you suggested. The problem is as simple as the price markups not automatically populating for each product like they have been up until now. so when I add the image, there are no products because if the price markup is left blank they don't show up. I put them in manually and it added the product. Is there a reason they are not automatically getting filled in? Also, I spoke to another shopify agent and they told me again that there is no product/variant limit per day. So I am trying to understand if you are specifically talking about the pixels threshold that is on your end and not shopify's. Thanks. = )

Honestly, they do have a limit. I will find out more but it is their limit on the app

Just got the same problem (can't add more Products via the Pixels App). I guess this is the limit (scroll down till the end of the page):

https://help.shopify.com/en/api/reference/rest-admin-api-rate-limits

"The following endpoints have an additional throttle that takes effect once a shop has 50,000 variants. After this threshold is reached, no more than 1,000 new variants can be created per day."

Some products (like framed prints) do create 100 variants so this really slows down new uploads.

Yep.. That's the one that Shopify say they haven't got

I wonder why they had no clue what I was talking about! Thanks for the info. = )

Shopify is a fantastic way to make your own website. It is very simple. Fine Art America has an app called PIXELS that integrates with Shopify so you can add products to your shopify store and they get fulfilled through here when someone orders a product. Here is a description for PIXELS https://apps.shopify.com/pixels . Here is a product on my websitye that uses PIXELS https://www.danecory.com/collections/framed-prints/products/glowing-helix-framed-print

Dane thanks for the info, your work is great ! Question how is billing handled ? Do you have to bill buyer yourself or can it be handled thru pay-pal ?

Thanks Tony! Basically, when you add a product to your Shopify store via the Pixels app, it generates a product with base prices, plus the markup you choose for each product. You can alter the price in Shopify even more if you'd like. When a customer places an order on your Shopify store, the price you charged them for the product and shipping (which you decide) will be paid directly to you, and Pixels/FAA will charge you the base price that it costs to print and ship that product. The remainder is your profit. I personally include what Pixels/FAA would charge me for shipping directly in my product prices and don't charge for shipping. It is all automated once your store and products are set up. Ordering, printing and shipping all happen without you having to lift a finger. Whatever method you choose on your shopify store will be how they are billed and how you get paid, as well as how Pixels/FAA bills you. You can set up major credit cards to be accepted, as well as pay pal or even apple pay. Hope this makes sense! It's complicated at first.
