Taught by my father, an amateur photographer and inspired through the works of some of the great photographers in magazines like Life, Time and National Geographic, my journey started in the US Navy. Serving 21 years as a Naval Photographer, I was exposed to many types of imagery: photography, motion picture and video. Additionally, I had the pleasure of traveling the world documenting various types of military activities. After retiring from the military in 2001, I have kept my camera at the ready, continuing to strive for that one great picture. Many of my works have been published in magazines, newspapers, advertising campaigns, promotional brochures, and billboards. I sincerely hope that you enjoy viewing my portfolio and galleries.
I also have a personal website at williamkrumpelman.smugmug.com, fine art america, i-stock, getty images, shutter stock and adobe stock.
