One of my earliest art related memories was of my Dad sitting down and sketching horses for my bother and I. It was amazing to me that he could, with just a few lines, draw a horse. I knew then that’s what I wanted to do. Imagine being able to sit and draw anything you want at any time. How cool is that?
Five years ago I began riding the train to work —with time on my hands I began sketching people on the train. It was fun and fulfilling. I would get to work enthused and ready for a brand new day. Soon I began drawing people and subjects with more skill. I don’t feel I’ve reached my full potential but it sure is fun getting there.
