Born in the city of Monterrey Mexico, and attending school in the same city, she graduated from college with a degree as a Graphic Designer, in the University of Monterrey. Her restlessness for paintings started when she was a kid, asking her parents to enroll her in a painting workshop at the age of 7. At that age she started to develop a special taste for art, which she developed thanks to the generous attention of her teachers.
At the end of her academic studies, she participated as a drawing teacher in some schools in the city of Monterrey, and at the beginning of her married life she started giving particular painting classes focused specially with kids. Today, she participates as a painting teacher in “Artística Material de Arte” (Artistic Material Art), also studying a diploma course of art history at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.The desire to learn drives her to participate in different workshops with teachers like Román Flores, Enrique Elías, Susana Gómez & Sergio Villarreal, and actually participates as a student in the workshop of plastic experimentation of Lupina Flores, teachers that are a key part on her development of different techniques of pictorial art.
She has collaborated in different collective expositions as 'Rasgos del Tiempo' (Time Traits) at the Metropolitan Museum of Monterrey Mexico, shops and classes she has participated, and has done it individually with her first exposition entitled “Emprendiendo el Vuelo” (Taking Flight), exposed in the house of culture of Villa de Santiago, and also with a sample titled “Entre Tiempos y Espacios” (Between Time and Space), exposed in the house of culture in San Pedro Garza García.
Her joyful, cheerful, honest and simple way of being has taken her to find a new way to express in canvases, with colors and figures that highlight the combination between the figurative and abstract, in such a way that she invites us to explore through her paintings and find out what our imagination interprets. She reflects in her paintings the tenacity of expressing her ideas, the freedom to manifest this, and the pleasure of painting that she wants to share with all.
