Having always loved creating, I found myself dabbling in many forms of creativity and art. My parents sum up my love of creativity in the following,
'In early years you designed images from macaroni and cheese on your dinner plate. You did needlework such as simple crewel pictures as a preteen into more advanced projects like quilting, knitting, and picture quilting like the vase of flowers picture in our kitchen. You sewed teddy bears with moveable extremities. You also did a fair amount of monograms using your embroidery machine. You dabbled in acrylic paint and watercolors, composing an array of bird paintings and landscapes. You create liquid images using alcohol inks on canvas, ceramic tiles and fabric. You have fashioned unusual pieces of jewelry. You also entered the woodworking arena, employing the lathe to create conversational pieces ranging from the common garden dibbler to unique ball point pens using special woods and poly resins. You utilized the band saw to cut multiple colored woods into puzzles as gifts for favorite young friends as well as brain teaser games. You have designed silhouette patterns of family members using the scroll saw on wood. You round out your interests by capturing mother nature at its best while photographing images both near and far.'
It is with gratitude never ending that I dedicate my works of art to my loving and supportive family for allowing me my creative life.
