Vibrant colors and textures are a consistent theme within my art. Most of my creations are in mixed media such as acrylics, oils, inks, collage incorporating even the most common materials such as beer, coffee, recycled materials on canvas, paper, boards; basically just about anything I can get my hands on to aid me with my passion for creating 3D textured look and feel to my works.
My works entail long processes, including various layering and drying periods. One will always find me in my studio painting, spraying, pouring, experimenting and doing all of these activities and wearing ChromaDepth 3D glasses, playing obsessively and extensively with the colors and creating depth within the different shades!
COMMISSIONING WORK: Tamiko has won several awards and has art in client's home in North and South America, Asia and Europe.
