I am an award-winning fine art photography artist living in Anchorage, Alaska, for the past 17 years. I have created works in various media, including pottery, precious metals and stones, and photography, and was the recipient of a Rasmuson Individual Artist's Award in 2007 for my metalsmithing work, as well as several awards for my new profession, photography. I've always loved photography, so recently decided to become a full-time photographer.
Most of my photography is done with a Nikon, but I also am an avid iPhoneographer, using my 3GS, 4, and 5S. The challenge of composing and editing on such a small device fascinates me. You'll find that the majority of my photos are from Alaska, but I also have many from Kaua'i, which I consider my second home.
Currently, I am a board member of the Alaska Photographic Center and a member of the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers. As well as winning awards, my photography has been featured in several online sites, including Smithsonian and The Nature Conservancy.
