I first fell in love with photography when I began hiking about 8 years ago.   At first, I took pictures because I was so slow and out of shape that I used it as an excuse to stop and catch my breath.   Even when I got to the point where I could hike faster, I still found myself stopping to take pictures.   For me, taking pictures trains my eye to look for beauty.   These pictures are a love letter to the mountains of Colorado, where I learned to love life.   These pictures are also a love letter to all of my hiking partners, who put up with my constantly stopping to...more
