I am an ARTIST in heart and soul, an instinctive photographer and a software engineer by qualification. I am self taught and have been painting since childhood but have taken it up seriously in the last 10 years or so. For me, WATERCOLOR as a medium is unpredictable and challenging, transparent and fluid and that is precisely whats amazing about it as a medium and the satisfaction I get is immense .ACRYLIC is something I have started to use recently and I am enjoying the speed at which I can paint,the detailing I am able to accomplish and the depth of color I can achieve.
I think my childhood days of living in my parents house with a large flower and fruit garden which also brought in various types of birds, ingrained this love for nature and hence my SUBJECTS are always bright,vibrant and mostly capturing the NATURAL WORLD- flowers, fruits, birds, animals.I love to paint because it is like framing the memory of a beautiful subject on paper and making them unforgettable and I find inspiration all around me.
All the paintings are made on high quality ACID FREE watercolor paper with good quality artist paints.All the painting are for sale currently to buyers in INDIA.and I also take up commissioned work.
