Ryan Courson is an award winning Equine photographer based in, and serving Southern Ontario.
As a photographer, I endeavour to capture the very essence of the horse; to put on display the unique characteristics and personalities every horse possesses.
I am fortunate to be witness to the interaction, the play, and the affection between horses, and want the viewer to feel they too, can be a part of those moments.
It is no secret that the horse is one of the worlds most awe inspiring creatures. They demonstrate the most amazing strength and power, and yet are able to display such tenderness and vulnerability. My photography strives to capture the range of these emotions, to intrigue the viewer, so they see beyond the frame and into the horse itself.
