Being involved in photography since 1978, Rico Besserdich is now an internationally acclaimed professional Underwater Photographer/Aquatic Imaging Artist, published in books and magazines all around the world, exhibited in various art exhibitions.He is the author of 2 non-fiction books about photography and he is the creator/author and publisher of 'Song of Silence - A Book About Water', an internationally acclaimed art book that takes you to a journey into the beauty and importance of the element that unites all living beings on Planet Earth, Water.
His mission to raise awareness for the importance of water earned him recognition by the NOBEL Organisation, the United Nations, the Swedish Parliament, among others.
Rico's specialty is the element of water, which he utilizes as key element of his artistic expression.
