I've been drawing in some form since I was 4 years old.   My current method is stipple, using a very fine Micron pen (005).   I also do the occasional scratchboard using a needle as the stylus.   One of my drawings, 'Baby Elephant' is featured in Shan Peck's book, 'Africa'.   Though I have been known to draw wildlife and landscapes, most of the artwork I am submitting on this site is portraits of historical Indigenous individuals.   I research old photographs from the late 19th and early 20th century by artists such as Edward S.   Curtis,...more
