Hello! Welcome to my artwork. The first thing to know about my yantra art is that I calculate measurements for paintings using Ayadi calculations. This is the same math used in sacred architecture in India. My unique Golden Shri Yantra painting is probably the only Ayadi Shri Yantra painting (or print) of this well known icon available on the Internet. Since my painting appeared on FAA, others created 'golden shri yantra' images, but most likely will be without Ayadi. The Golden Shri Yantra, as I created it, is protected by copyright.----------------

So, what is Ayadi and why does it matter? Ayadi is system of mathematics used in Vaastu (India) to design temples, other buildings, and sacred art (religious icons). Purists in this art would avoid placing any art work or statue created without Ayadi in their homes or temples.-------------------

The purpose of using Ayadi mathematics (according to ancient texts) is to create a building or an artwork that radiates positive helpful vibrations. The skill of calculation is handed down through of small number of Vaastu masters in India. I learned Ayadi in the line of the late V Ganapati Sthapati (1927-2011). He was probably the best known and respected sthapati in India. The use of Ayadi calculations in the creation of paintings, especially outside of India, is rare. I am fortunate to have received this knowledge and can incorporate the sacred mathematics in my artwork.------------------

My three big artworks (Golden Shri Yantra, the Shri Maha Lakshmi, and the Shri Saraswati) and all but two of the smaller paintings, were created with sacred geometry and Ayadi calculations (mathematics). The dimensions of these painting are specific to the birth time of the artist and the deity, according to Vaastu. Thus, the measurements will only produce the sacred vibrations for that artist's painting.---------------------Painting the Shri Yantra and other complicated yantras requires great concentration/mediation and skill. Each brushstroke must have the accuracy of a straight edge so that the mathematics remain valid. Working on a painting such as the Golden Shri yantra is a journey in itself.

GUIDELINES ON CHOOSING A PRINT-------------------------

If you want to buy a print and you’re unsure what exactly you want, consider the following:
CANVAS: Choose the size you want. To get a print most like the painting go for glossy/or matt canvas print. This will give your print a canvas texture and rich colours. Then choose Gallery Wrap or Museum Wrap. Gallery Wrap is 1.5 inch stretcher bars. This will look like a thick canvas when hung, a modern look. If you go for Museum Wrap you get 5/8 inch stretcher pieces. This looks slimmer, a classical size. Then you can choose a frame dark or white depending on your décor or what you want to achieve. To contain the image or let it blend with the background. Or you can choose a colour for the edges of the canvas.---------------------
PAPER: Here’s an example for a paper print. SIZE choose 36x36, FRAME: SLW5 or HP8 (brown-gold frame), or white: 111WHT. MAT: width 1.50 (the space between border of print and frame) or you can make print full size if you wish. Select the paper colour; choose either very white, artic white, or manor white. PAPER QUALITY: Premium semi-matte photo paper or gloss if you prefer. FINISH: Clear acrylic.------------------

CANVAS/PAPER: You can buy a print on its own and then frame or mount it yourself. Canvas prints can be mounted behind acrylic or glass too.-------------- I hope this information helped you decide what kind of a print you want to buy. In the end it comes down to personal taste. May you have years of enjoyment of your yantra print. ----------------------
