Norman Mansfield Nicol: Painter, Illustrator, Sculptor, Pyrographer and more importantly Husband and Father. A long journey has brought him from obscurity to sharing his work. Early career in advertising and sales sent him further from his passions in art. At age 8 his mother was bed ridden and ill from MS she subsequently died from pneumonia. As a young adolescent he suffered in silence and could not express himself until he found his art. Art can heal the scars of a young boy. a lot of his work explores the relationships between ourselves, between man and nature, between mother and child.
