NL Galbraith has been painting on and off for over 25 years. NL enjoys painting with acrylics, watercolors, and inks. Her murals, trompe l'oeil work, and decorative paintings can be found in residences all over the southwest. NL also enjoys photography and graphic design. She opened up her art website in early 2020. She became an associate member of the San Diego Museum of Art Artist's Guild in 2021. NL has exhibited in juried art shows at the Poway Center for Performing Arts, and in Spanish Village in Balboa Park at Gallery 21. NL was accepted in and has exhibited her artwork many times over in exhibitions and online competitions in 2020-2023. Several of these competitions had over 300 and up to 700 entries from around the world. To her surprise, she has been featured many times and has won several awards for her paintings, inspiring her to continue forward. Her work is protected by copyright.
NL was educated as an interior designer and had her own business for many years. Art was often the finishing touch that tied together or transformed the spaces, and brought smiles. In a world filled with conflict and turmoil, some art can take you to a better place. NL believes that one's environment does effect one's life, demeanor, perspective, dreams and achievements. So set the stage well, and live well with art!
