Nikki McIvor is originally from Wales, but now calls the Wairarapa home.   Mostly self-taught, Nikki draws her inspiration from the gorgeous Wairarapa landscapes, and wildlife, adding local scenes with native and introduced New Zealand wildlife.   Art Nouveau and the Arts & Crafts Movement also influence Nikki including late 19th century Japanese prints.   She has many creative outlets including event management and decoration, and is now looking at possibly trying her hand at writing & illustrating children's books in the not too distant future.   Nikki continues to exhibit at The...more
