From Wyoming, M.R. Blare's art reflects the beauty that surrounds her. She lets paint flow from her brush and across the canvas as she expresses what lies deep within. Photography, acrylic, and charcoal are her mediums due to their fast-producing nature. She states simply, 'If life gives us that rare second chance, why shouldn't I show that in my art?'
Blare is disabled and suffers from the worst disease known to man, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Type II, formerly known as Causalgia. This Chronic Pain and Neurological Nerve Disorder is also coined as the 'Suicide Disease' around the world. Although she can no longer work as a pharmacy manager or pharmacist and serve the people of her state, she credits the Lord with giving her purpose and filling her with joy, peace, and His strength to conquer each hellacious waking moment of her existence.
In addition to Chronic Pain Advocacy and helping those who experience pain similar to hers, Blare discovered that the Lord had revealed a hidden talent and deep love within for art and photography. She works hard to develop and mature her self-taught, but professional style and technique of artistic prowess. She does this with long hours of education, repetition and practice, and the valued assistance of her husband whose own talented artistic experience and education contribute to the process.
This combined style materializes in what has been described by her critics and fans as 'vibrant, heartfelt, poignant' artwork and photography that 'literally takes the breath away.'

Blare works hard to show the art that surrounds her in the world through the lens of her camera. Her photographs are not doctored, artistically altered, or falsely re-colored, or photoshopped (edited). The contents of the photo are true and authentic and used for artistic purposes as intended.
Her favorite thing to say to young artisans is 'Art lies within everything around us. It's the artist's job to find it and show it to the masses.'
