Hello, I am Melissa A Benson, an Alternate Reality Fantasy Illustrator and Fine Artist. I design and create colorful, realistic paintings for fantasy art collectors, RPG gamers and Pagan art collectors. My unique style comes from using oils and colored pencils or, for black and white work, graphite and charcoal pencils. There are a lot of Celtic influences and Pagan allegories in my work and I specialize in anthropomorphic creatures.
Many will recognize my name from the gaming industry for creating powerful and imaginative illustrations for many top collectible card game (CCG) publishers. I have worked with Wizards of the Coast, White Wolf Publishing , Iron Crown Entertainment's, Black Dragon Press Z-Man Games & others.
