I imagine that being born in a country where one is exposed on a daily basis to vibrant color and diverse cultures, inspired me to paint. I became very interested in Art at a very early age. I started doodling in kindergarten and as a young teenager Art became my hobby. I have always loved to capture and interpret human expression and emotion, which to me is beautiful and timeless, and many of my early portraits of family and friends still adorn their homes today.
At secondary school, I attained recognition and won prizes for my art work, which were displayed in school halls and local exhibitions. At college I fine-tuned my skills and attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics and Advertising. Then I immersed myself into the corporate world of Advertising for a number of years.
Now that my family has expanded, I decided to work from home and have made my passion my profession. To me art is like music, a universal language which connects us all as a people.
