I have drawn and painted all my life, but for many years, my 'day job' was as a special education/science teacher of high school age students. Now I paint full time, primarily in watermedia.My favorite medium is transparent watercolor. I love the way the paper glows through layers of paint, and the way the paint has a mind of its own. Only with watercolor can you not assume that the paint will be obedient and stay where and as you put it.
