I am an artist living in Fort Langley, British Columbia. Creativity plays an important part of my life and I am passionate about both painting and photography.
The well-known photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, wrote, 'To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life.'
I have always been captivated by colours, textures, and patterns. Sometimes it is the simplest shape, man-made or in nature, or a play of light and shadow that calls out to me.
I like to see the world through the lens and am always amazed at what catches my eye, stirs my soul, and inspires me. I try to create photographs that portray the beauty of nature, the humanity of man, or tell a story of life as lived in a moment in time.
My abstract paintings are influenced by my travels to more than 45 countries on five continents. The blues of the Mediterranean and Caribbean, the greens of landscapes and forests in Scandinavia and Canada, and reds and oranges of India and Africa are hues that inspire me when I pick up a paintbrush.
Many of my images can be purchased through Pixels or Fine Art America as prints on paper or canvas, various products, or as greeting cards.
