Makati is a self-taught Fine Art Photographer.   He has been capturing 'Moments In Time', since 1975.   He studied fine art oil painting at the University of Miami, for several years and has transformed this knowledge to his photographs.   He has won many awards and is in the collection of many local and international admirers.   Makati is a permanent member of the Kuumba Artist Collective of Florida, In 1988, he returned to his hometown of Jacmel, Haiti and fell back in love with his native land.   Makati, decided to capture the beauty that is the country...more
