I started drawing fashion figures and creating clothes (and wigs!) for my Barbie doll as a child and never stopped being 'a maker'. By the time I was 10, I imagined having a career in fashion. Happily, that dream came true. I enjoyed a long and exciting career working in NYC's Garment Industry. While producing illustration and design projects for various prestigious clients, I simultaneously taught those same skills to students at Parsons School of Design for thirty years.
I have redirected my passion for fashion - color, shape, silhouette, proportion - into works of digital and fine art. I hope you enjoy the works which I've highlighted here.
When I'm not painting, drawing, sewing or creating mosaics, have you...
- met me at a 'live sketch event' at a luxury brand store or private client event?
- taken a fashion illustration class or workshop with me?
- commissioned me to create a piece of custom art to commemorate your special occasion?
I'm happy to announce that I'll be back in the classroom, even if it's a virtual one! My Fashion Drawing Class starts on Oct 3rd and runs for six sessions. Paste this link into your browser to learn more: https://www.dailypaintworks.com/artists/loretta-tedeschi-cuoco-11455/pages/Drawing_Course
Hope to see you there ;)
Until then, get out there, look for beauty and be positive, you fashionista you!
Thank you for visiting :)
