I will have the images printed to size and ship them to you myself. I do offer matting and framing at an additional cost. However, if you purchase a standard sized print, it will be very easy to purchase a frame, matting, or both and frame the print/photograph yourself,
Leslie Cruz is an aspiring self-taught photographer and writer that currently resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Currently she is in the process of developing her portfolios and has several projects in the fire.
Leslie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and relocated to the Great Northwood’s of Wisconsin when she was six years old. She received her first camera when she was 8 years old and started her love affair with photography. The pristine natural environment of northern Wisconsin shaped her love of nature that comes through in her images. When she was a teenager she purchased her first 35mm camera and she took that camera with her when she embarked on her brief career in the U.S. Army. In 2001 she purchased her first Nikon SLR and her love of photography deepened. Since 2007 she has been taking photographs with Digital SLR’s the vast majority of the time and loves the ease and the ability to digitally process all her photos with Adobe PhotoShop CS5 and Adobe LightRoom 4. She creates her digital images through the use of PhotoShop CS5 and a Wacom Intuous 3 tablet.
The images I create reflect the four key components of my philosophy of art creation: Integrity, Competence, Diversity, and Authenticity. Integrity and authenticity are reflected in that I am true to my artistic vision and spirit when I create images, whether they are photographs or digital art. I capture the images in photographs and then maintain the accuracy of the capture through minimal digital intervention, and am honest in my representation of those images. Competence is reflected in that I strive to improve my skills and technical proficiencies through consistent practice and education. Diversity is reflected in that I capture images of many types: portraits, fine art, product, and special event to name a few. I do not believe in enclosing oneself within a glass box artistically. The photographs and art that I create reflect my own values, norms, and manner of seeing the world.
