I started painting over 45 years ago as an art major at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. At one point in my career I taught acrylic painting classes at Greenfield Community College. I also continued to participate in classes and workshops with regional experts to expand and nurture my talent. As a member of the Deerfield Valley Art Association in Greenfield, Massachusetts, the Monadnock Artists Association in Keene, New Hampshire and The White Church Painters of Old Deerfield, Massachusetts, I regularly show my work in their shows and in local shops in Massachusetts. I started my career in painting doing animal portraits in pastel and have done over 50 commissions for loving pet owners across the country from Vermont and North Carolina to Califlornia. Recently, I have expanded my experimentation to painting in oils. I have started a series of children's portraits, still lifes and landscapes which I enjoy immensely. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy producing it!
