Ko van Leeuwen (1956) is a autodidact photographer based in the harbourtown of IJmuiden in The Netherlands.   A keen hobby photographer in 1968-1984 with his own darkroom he stopped photographing for twenty years.   When digital camera's came available he started again mainly as a press-photographer for newspapers and nationwide television stations.   Besides that he did a lot of free photography as well as corporate photography.   His biggest job was photographing for five and a half years on the buildingsite of Zeesluis IJmuiden, worlds biggest sealock for ships going to...more
