KG Photography is located in the Midwest, where every season brings with it interesting and intriguing opportunities to capture images that impress or inspire. Combining my passion for photography with a love of nature has been a perfect fit for as long as I can remember. I greatly enjoy macro photography, especially of flowers, nature, animals, critters (and yes, even the bugs) but also find great joy in landscape and other types of photography. The beauty of wherever I am is my canvas. I begin each adventure by painting a picture in my mind of what I want to capture before heading out with my camera, but have learned that nature does not always cooperate. Truth is, those unexpected or unplanned images are some of the ones that I am happiest with. My hope is that the images I create give the person looking at them joy and happiness, that they can even produce a feeling of calm and peace.
