Kelsey Kolberg is a portrait painter living and working in the Tenderloin in San Francisco, CA.   Her focus is on bringing permanence and relevance to the drag and trans community of the Tenderloin, which is becoming displaced through the constant gentrification of San Francisco.   She incorporates three dimensional aspects into her work which not only bring depth but are meant to be touched.She is also working on a series of abstract, psychedelic, surreal, figurative ink and marker illustrations that are inspired by jazz.
