Award winning artist - 'Colour is pivotal to my life and the very essence of my being.'
'COLOUR IN A PICTURE IS LIKE ENTHUSIASM IN LIFE' ~ Vincent Van Gogh, 1853-1890
As a former performing arts teacher expressiveness was of paramount importance both in dance and drama. I instilled in students that need to be larger than life when performing. This is now true of my art. My paintings are bold, expressive & vibrant acrylics full of movement.

I have exhibited extensively in New Zealand and Canada. In 2017 I exhibited in Wales, U.K as part of the Open Studios trail during Anglesey Arts Weeks 14th. Year.

I was born and grew up in Wales and am passionate about my country of birth.
Since attaining a B.Ed (Honours) in Dance with Art & Design I have promoted the Arts and its importance in education in Canada and England before migrating to New Zealand in 2004.
Whilst living in British Columbia I exhibited in Artique Gallery, Powell River, Texada Island Gallery and in Chilliwack, B.C.
On migrating from B.C to New Zealand teaching enveloped me and my own practise was put on hold.
In 2012 the need to further explore and focus on my own practice as a painter and sculptor took over.
I went back to studying Art and have not looked back once since.
