'It's in the Quiet Moments!'
It's in the quiet moments that I take time to be thankful for all the good things in my life. The quiet time you take to create really inspires me. Within each of us, I believe there is a passion to create and be unique. Creating fulfills our lives and adds excitement to our daily routines. I have been a teacher, a stay at home mom of two boys, a happy wife, and now an artist. I love learning and taking time to enjoy the simple things in life.

Julie is an artist and a teacher. She paints in a representational style using oils, pastels, acrylics and watercolor. She works both in her studio and on location in plein air. Her art work is portrayed with a softness that evokes harmony, balance and peace. Inspired by the beauty of nature, the value of exploring history, her artwork represents the peace she receives from being in balance in her own life.
Julie has been a teacher in many aspects of her life. During her high school as a Senior Girl Scout she found her passion in helping others learn. She was a public school teacher for 6 years and a coordinator of an Art Docent program for 7 years. She has been privately tutoring art to both young and young at art since 2005. She is also a member of the Los Gatos Art Association (lgaa.org).
