John Brueske was born and raised in SE Minnesota. He graduated from Plainview High School. As a boy growing up, he loved to take pictures with a little 110 camera and then a 35mm Minolta point n shoot. Around 1999 he became more serious about photography and purchased his first Minolta SLR 35mm camera. His photography quickly progressed from there.
