Jack H.   Monninger, Jr. is an Indianapolis artist, graduate of the Herron School of Art & Design, art teacher in a local public school system, and former faculty member at the Indianapolis Art Center.   Through the years he has enjoyed creating artwork in a variety of styles and media, while early in his career he often gravitated towards abstract expressionism in mixed media.   His more recent work includes a series of landscape paintings inspired by his travels in Italy and Peru.   These pieces are acrylic/mixed medium on canvas or watercolor paper.   They are...more
