I first learned about fractals in the 1990's however I didn't dive into the art of creating them until 2007. Once I did, it became almost an obsession. I love the ability to explore the infinite mathematical universe and finding expressions of day to day life in it. Some fractals I create while I listen to my favorite music, sometimes they take me into a meditative state allowing me to relieve stress.
The medium is so flexible and potent that I found myself using colors I would have never considered if I were to create with traditional tools. I feel that color and music are powerful tools that can heal and help us better our lives. I wish that these artworks bring you joy, peace, serenity, healing, and that they help you unfold some of the mysteries you encounter in your life.
All these artworks are possible due to the tremendous discoveries, work and research by mathematicians Benoit Mandelbrot, and Gaston Julia, among many others and by the creator of many fractal rendering software Stephen C. Ferguson. I dedicate all my artworks, present and future to them.
