Hi folks, welcome and thanks for visiting my art and photo gallery page.
I'm happy and humbled to be here among so many great artists to show my work.
I started drawing and painting at a young age, living & going to school in the Bronx New York and known for drawing trees in my grade school classes.
I now ironically seem to be photographing them and creating images having fun with camera effects and digital imaging programs to give them a special unique look that I hope you'll like to see.
The photo bug hit me early too when I shot pictures of my favorite musician Jimi Hendrix at Hunter College in 1968 with an old Kodak Brownie Starflash camera. I was amazed at the images I got.
From then on I was always taking pictures and creating art in and out of art school, and continued on in working at a photo lab darkroom learning photo retouching too in which I excelled at. I continue to work in that field today with my own web site the Art of Retouching. Glennferon.com.
I did receive a first prize art award in junior high school that I was very proud to receive, and also a certificate of achievement from the Eastman Kodak Company for Photo retouching and emulsion stripping.
I hope you enjoy my work and it impresses and dazzles your eyes enough to want to hang one of them on your wall.
