I've been doing art for fifty years.   As a youth I began painting with oils and later went to the S.   Francisco Art Institute where I worked in mixed media.   As a graduate I entered the U.S.Army to become a medic and later a registered nurse while taking up stone carving.   I did water color and charcoals while traveling in Europe and Israel.   Once I entered medical school my fine art transformed into anatomical drawings and diagrams.   Upon completion of a psychiatric residency the artistic drive went into building a practice for several years...more
