I have dabbled in different methods of artistic expression my entire life, but have become more recently invested in acrylics as my favored medium.   I largely work from photographs that I have taken or objects in my home, although I will occasionally use old family photos or other media.   I don't consider my work literal translations but gestures in color and line that expand the literal.   I am most interested in properties of light and color and work to express those in exciting ways.   My training in the arts has included both classes at Texas Tech University and tips and help...more
