I live on the side of a mountain in Wales, UK and the beautiful landscape that surrounds me is often an inspiration for my work.   I share my life with my partner, Lazarus Carpenter, who is an author whose books I have had the pleasure of illustrating, and also with our two loyal and lively little terriers.   I enjoy all forms of art and have worked in most mediums but at the moment I am mainly using watercolours or oil and wax-based pencils which I love for their ease of transporting to use in all locations and for their vibrant colours.   I have also discovered air drying clay and am creating...more
