I have been drawing as long as I can remember; trying different styles of art has kept me interested.   Because of that my collection could be called eclectic as it ranges from very abstract to very detailed.   My art training has included some formal study at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.   There, I began oil painting and practiced new drawing techniques using Conte crayon, pen and ink, etc.   I've been a long-time student (and fan!) of watercolorist Pam Lee who also is featured here on Fine Art America.   Studying other artists and their techniques has inspired me...more
