My father inspired me to take up photography when he bought me an instant Polaroid camera in the 1970's.   I was 8 or 9 at the time, and I loved it!   Many years (and several cameras later!), my love of photography is still going strong.   I carry my camera with me most days, looking to record that 'moment in time,' be it an insect alighting on a sunlit flower, a herd of cows strolling off for milking, trees swaying in a gentle breeze, one of my menagerie of animals looking especially inspiring and many others.   I love the unique quality of a photograph, the fact that an image has...more
