Throughout my life art has been a means of recreation and relaxation for me. I am now retired and free to pursue two artistic passions.
One is to work in 3D using Bryce to create colorful fantasy landscapes and scifi images for the young at heart. My first uploads to Fine Art America will be these images.
My second passion is 'algorithmic abstract art'. I was overjoyed when I found a software graphic generator with which I could create beautiful algorithmic abstract art prints. The process of creating these algorithmic abstract art prints involves creating a tree of interconnecting algorithmic modules and then examining multitudes of iterations they can produce until the 'keeper' image appears. The patterns of color are called 'generative algorithmic abstract art'. Generative means its created in a computer. 'Algorithmic abstract art' means mathematical formulas or recipes are used in the construction of the 'algorithmic abstract art' images. Sometimes photographs are added to the mathematical mix to create unique forms and textures. I will be adding these images as time allows.
