As a child, I sang, read books, played outside a lot, kept diaries and sketchbooks filled with drawings, stories and poetry.   Not much has changed!   I did not, however, link my inner creative world to outer structures until I began teaching art.   Interacting with students and peers to develop and expand their talents as artists inspired and motivated me.   In order to get their amazing art in the public eye, I contacted several local galleries and ended up curating, installing and showing their art as well as my own.   My ideas for paintings come from five areas...more
