I was born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina and I have been interested in photography since my father gave me his Kodak Brownie box camera when I was a child. I met my husband, Jeff, and he brought me to Phoenix in 2001. I fell in love with Arizona the first time I came here. There are endless photo opportunites from the Sonoran desert to the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff. I love the ruggedness of the rock, and especially Sedona's red rock country. I also love photographing animals, mostly horses, especially Arabians. I am very lucky to live in the mecca of the Arabian horse.
