After working in the business world for nearly 20 years, I decided to leave the rat race and do something that I love. So, I'm now pursueing my passion of photography. I specialize in fine art and stock photography. My favorite subjects are nature and wildlife, but I shoot other subjects as well, such as Americana, abstracts, people, etc. Once or twice a year I conduct a five day photography workshop in Yellowstone National Park where workshop participants spend time improving their photography skills & photographing the amazing scenery & wildlife of Yellowstone. I'm also available for one-on-one photography instruction during various times of the year.
I shoot exclusively in RAW with a Canon 5D Mark III. The Canon 500mm and 100-400mm are my favorite wildlife lenses and I often combine them with a 1.4 extender to get closer images of the animals. I use primarily natural light in my photos, but will use one or two flash units & modifiers when necessary.
