Photography was introduced to me when I was 16 years old, orphaned, and desperately needing to get through a crisis.   The 35 mm rangefinder that was lent to me in a high school photography class was a life saver.   The world of light, form, and expression carried me away and set me on another path.   During this time I discovered feral cats, which I identified with in a personal way.   I documented their beauty and their struggle to survive.   Many years have passed since those challenging times, but my approach to art with a camera has not...more
